Meet Gordon Robinson

Gordon Robinson is the president of Investment Designers of Tulsa and has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. His father, G.G. Robinson, spent 60 years providing financial advice to many people of Oklahoma. At Investment Designers of Tulsa, the established heritage continues by offering a wide range of services to clients.
Due to his father’s influence, in 1976 Gordon started with Principal Mutual. From 1979-1982 he handled employee benefits and profit sharing with the Oklahoma Independent Bankers Association. In 1982 he began working with the largest regional securities wire house firm in Oklahoma and since 1989 has been affiliated with Royal Alliance.
In 2004 Gordon received the Certified Financial Planner designation. Since January 2019, he has been the President of the Tulsa chapter of the Financial Planning Association after serving as the Program Director for 12 years. He was the past President and Chairman of the Board for the Harvest House, a non-profit organization that helps those in need, and still serves as a board member.

Meet the Team
Kara L. Younce
Kara Younce holds a double major in accounting and finance and has 18 years of experience. She spent three years at Massachusetts Mutual before becoming a part of Gordon’s team over 15 years ago. As a relationship manager, her knowledge is much respected when she talks to clients.
Carla Sperling
Carla Sperling has worked in the insurance industry since 1989. Initially trained by Jackson National, she has spent the last 29 years assisting Gordon in the areas of life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance. Consequently, she focuses on researching and delivering information on many insurance products, both past and present.
Austin Maschino
Austin Maschino started in the business with Gordon’s father in 1993. His accounting degree proves valuable when discussing the tax implications of investing, retirement, and income distribution. Longevity in the business has given him the opportunity to become familiar with many of the complicated issues surrounding the multi-generational transfer of assets.
Tiffany Chaney
Tiffany Chaney has worked in the investment industry for 27 years as a client service specialist. She attained the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Certification in 2011. She has been a Chapter Executive for the Tulsa chapter of the Financial Planning Association for 22 years. Since 2002 she has been the Chapter Administrator for the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum.
